I forgot how excellent the European i20 looked. If this doesn’t become our next Accent, I will be a very sad camper. IMO the current Accent really doesn’t look too great compared to the Rio or other cars it’s size. Making it this goddamn handsome would definitely bring it some buyers.

I may be the only one to say this, but I think floating roofs look bitchin’ when done right.

Hell, I’d say this looks good enough to compete with fancier subcompacts like the 500 and the Mini.

Quiet you, Canada doesn’t get to have an opinion under ‘Murican hegemony!

Now that we have that out of the way, I have no idea how big/small this car is. You might want to use a banana for reference on size.

It looks very Toyota Matrix-y, just on a diet.

A Mini is about more than just good looks. The Hyundai can’t compete, and doesn’t have to as it’s much cheaper. The 500 is a city car; different class.

The competition lies more in the Kia Cee’d/Opel Corsa/VW Polo range. Honestly, the build quality of these Hyundai’s is really good and to top it off, the whole ‘It’s a Hyundai’ attitude is pretty much gone. They’re good, little cars. I’d take it over a Polo any day.

I’m looking forward to the i20 N’s debut and seriously hoping it’s not a R-Spec/GT trim cop-out.
